We are excited to share some impressions from our recent SOIL Wider Community Gathering & Exhibition, 23-26 May. The programme comprised an exhibition featuring 18 artists selected from an open call and a soil-rich programme including hands-on workshops, drop-in activities, and live performances.

Funding
We are excited to share the news that we have been awarded funding by The Pilgrim Trust through their Preservation and Conservation funding stream. This allows us to undertake crucial work preserving our Grade II* listed mansion by addressing urgent work on rainwater goods pipes and assessing unique architectural details.

We are thrilled to announce that we have received a generous grant from CPRE Oxfordshire Buildings Preservation Trust Ltd. Thanks to their support, we are able to commission a Historic Significance Report, a Condition Survey of the lead work on our roofs, and repair a chimney stack on our main building.

Creative maker Fred Branson on his workshop Gleaning, Twisting, Coiling facilitated in September 2024 at Braziers Park. We talked about his interest in plant fibres and how his experiences as a grower on a small-scale vegetable farm in North Oxfordshire feeds into his own creative practice.

Intentional Community: The Art of Living and The Science of Life (2017) by Nick Jordan and Clara Casian is a documentary portrait of Braziers Park School of Integrative Social Research, the longest-running secular resident community in the UK. Centred upon insights from current residents and members, the film interweaves scenes of daily life with the natural features, architectural characteristics and diverse cultural history of the community.
