Maintenance Worker (residential, 20 hours/week)
All our employees are paid £12.36 per hour. Resident employees and residents pay rent at £535 per month and £2 for each meal they eat with the community.
You will:
- Have worked as a handy person or in a trade, with electrical, plumbing, roofing, drainage, and/or carpentry experience
- Be working in conjunction with the other Maintenance Worker and the Buildings & Development Manager on reactive maintenance tasks and cyclical maintenance
- Maintain and repair estate and house equipment and machinery (e.g. lawn mowers and kitchen blenders)
- Ensure safety systems are regularly tested and maintained
- Ensure daily and weekly operation as well as cleaning of our biomass boilers
