Autumn Yoga Day Retreat

About the event:

Treat yourself to a rejuvenating day of connecting with yourself and the cycle of the seasons; reflect upon our journey through the year so far set nourishing intentions for the coming months.

We will journey through a range of seasonally inspired practices to explore the Autumn as a time for taking stock of our harvests (both literal and metaphorical) from the summer months, for processing and preserving the fruits of our labours to sustain us over the winter months, and for composting that which no longer serves us.

The programme will include gentle movement, yoga nidra (guided meditation), readings and prompts for reflection, creative practice, and deep rest in a meditative soundscape created by gongs, singing bowls and chimes. We will also spend time in the Braziers Park grounds, weather permitting.

About the facilitator:

Anna is an Oxford-based facilitator whose work centres on seasonal themes. Through movement, guided meditation, creative practices and soundbaths, she encourages participants to connect with the land we’re living upon and tune in to nature’s cycles of change. She is a big advocate of rest as a revolutionary act, and believes that offering ourselves an opportunity to slow down, reflect and integrate, builds resilience and is one of the most important acts of self-care.
