Alice (she/her)

Grants Coordinator & Resident

Three words to describe Braziers Park?

Dynamic – Welcoming – Evolving

Could you tell us about your work outside of Braziers?

I’m an artist and performer and I work across visual art, theatre, and dance spaces. For around 10 years, I taught at BA Fine Art departments in Universities. I’m used to working solo and in groups to make live events happen, and this is one of the things that draws me to Braziers Park – it’s easy to gather people together and to realise ideas very fast!

Could you tell us about your role and responsibilities at Braziers?

I’m the Grants Coordinator, and I’m actively working on securing funding to preserve our heritage and resource our present-day activities. The best part of this job is getting together with the community to coordinate activities and establishing where there is need/energy for key projects. I love the fact that I can’t do this work alone! I also really enjoy meeting new people and talking about Braziers – it’s so easy to be enthusiastic about what we do!
