Apply for our Academic & Creative Residency Programme

Braziers Park is inviting applications for our self-funded ACRE (Academic and Creative Research) Residency Programme. We are welcoming up to 12 residents between 1 December 2026 and 8 March 2027. We welcome artists, researchers, writers, and thinkers interested in developing work through communal living and shared enquiry. There is no fixed submission deadline; however, we recommend applying early, as the open call will close once we have identified 12 suitable candidates.

Bring your retreat to Braziers Park

With beautiful grounds, characterful spaces, accommodation, and catering, we offer a peaceful residential setting for wellbeing retreats, workshops, and group gatherings. Available for whole-site and individual space bookings, our historic house and rural Oxfordshire grounds provide a welcoming place to slow down, connect, and spend meaningful time together. Groups can make use of shared gathering spaces, comfortable bedrooms, home-cooked meals, and the surrounding gardens and woodland.

Braziers Park’s Education Guiding Vision for 2025 and Beyond

At Braziers Park School of Integrative Social Research, we are embarking on a renewed journey in 2025, guided by the triad of Soil, Soul, Society – a profound framework of ecological and spiritual consciousness articulated by educator, activist, and thinker Satish Kumar. This philosophy will shape our calendar of events, workshops, and courses inspiring participants to engage with the natural world, deepen inner awareness, and cultivate sustainable communities.

Kids Go Wild!

We are excited to share that the 2027 dates for our popular Kids Go Wild! sessions are now live and available to book. Tickets remain at £12 per child, including one accompanying adult, or £20 for a family ticket (up to three children and one adult). Dates through to April 2027 are now available to book, with further dates to be announced throughout the year.

Community

Heather, one of our community residents, shares her journey into beekeeping and what she has learned from caring for the honey bees at Braziers Park. From honey-making and pollination to swarming and tackling Varroa mites, she offers a glimpse into the fascinating lives of bees and their relatives. Along the way, Heather reflects on the importance of creating diverse habitats and allowing wild spaces to flourish, supporting the many pollinators that make their home at Braziers.

Fundraising

Help us create a new Science Exploration Area in the woodlands at Braziers Park! We are raising £2,000 to create a playful, hands-on learning environment for local children and families, encouraging curiosity and discovery of the natural world. Every donation will help bring this project to life. If we don't reach our target, contributions will fund individual elements of the build. Any surplus will support ongoing maintenance of the area and Braziers Park's wider charitable aims.
