Apply for our Academic & Creative Residency Programme

Braziers Park is inviting applications for our self-funded ACRE (Academic and Creative Research) Residency Programme. We are welcoming up to 12 residents between 1 December 2026 and 8 March 2027. We welcome artists, researchers, writers, and thinkers interested in developing work through communal living and shared enquiry. There is no fixed submission deadline; however, we recommend applying early, as the open call will close once we have identified 12 suitable candidates.

Bring your retreat to Braziers Park

With beautiful grounds, characterful spaces, accommodation, and catering, we offer a peaceful residential setting for wellbeing retreats, workshops, and group gatherings. Available for whole-site and individual space bookings, our historic house and rural Oxfordshire grounds provide a welcoming place to slow down, connect, and spend meaningful time together. Groups can make use of shared gathering spaces, comfortable bedrooms, home-cooked meals, and the surrounding gardens and woodland.

Braziers Park’s Education Guiding Vision for 2025 and Beyond

At Braziers Park School of Integrative Social Research, we are embarking on a renewed journey in 2025, guided by the triad of Soil, Soul, Society – a profound framework of ecological and spiritual consciousness articulated by educator, activist, and thinker Satish Kumar. This philosophy will shape our calendar of events, workshops, and courses inspiring participants to engage with the natural world, deepen inner awareness, and cultivate sustainable communities.

Community

Discover how a disused agricultural building at Braziers Park was transformed into a lively community space through volunteer effort, practical skills and creative collaboration. Buildings & Development Manager Nor Greenhalgh reflects on the Apple Store’s repair, the people who brought it back to life, and the importance of play, ingenuity and shared learning in the process. The story also looks ahead to the building’s future, including sensitive conservation work and its growing use for workshops, rehearsals and events at Braziers.

Hiring

Braziers Park is looking for a non-residential Bookkeeper (16 hrs/wk) to join our team. This varied role is ideal for someone with strong financial and organisational skills who enjoys working collaboratively within a community setting. You will help oversee our day-to-day finances, support budgeting and reporting, and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our charitable aims. The post is non-residential, with at least one day per week based at Braziers Park. Applications close on 9 August 2026, with interviews taking place during the week commencing 24 August.
