Braziers Park’s Education Guiding Vision for 2025 and Beyond



At Braziers Park School of Integrative Social Research, we are embarking on a renewed journey in 2025, guided by the triad of Soil, Soul, Society – a profound framework of ecological and spiritual consciousness articulated by educator, activist, and thinker Satish Kumar. This philosophy will shape our calendar of events, workshops, and courses inspiring participants to engage with the natural world, deepen inner awareness, and cultivate sustainable communities.

RECENT STORIES


Open Call

Braziers Park is inviting applications for our ACRE (Academic and Creative Research) Residency Programme. We are welcoming up to 12 residents between 1 December 2026 and 28 February 2027 (with flexible residency lengths and possible extensions, subject to capacity). We welcome artists, researchers, writers, and thinkers interested in developing work through communal living and shared enquiry. There is no fixed submission deadline; however, we recommend applying early, as the open call will close once we have identified 12 suitable candidates.

Opportunity

We are looking for an Estate & Woodland Specialist Volunteer to join us at Braziers Park from 1 October 2026 – 31 March 2027 (30 hours/week). You will support the running of our 57-acre estate, working on seasonal projects including hedges, biochar, woodland and grounds maintenance, paths/drainage, and firewood processing, as well as helping lead volunteer groups. In exchange, we provide full room and board within our international residential community. Apply by Sunday 9 August. Interview start w/c 17 August.
